As a MICE Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales strategy and business development for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) and special interest segments. You will be responsible for expanding our customer base, achieving sales targets, and identifying new product opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our China Country Managers and Sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies for the MICE, Incentive Tours and special interest business segments.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential and key travel agents within the MICE, Corporate Incentive Tours and special interest market.
- Proactively source and introduce new products and services suitable for interest segments.
- Coordinate with the supporting team to develop and maintain a robust product database for our business
- Attend trade shows, community events, industry meetings and professionally represent the MIKI Travel in the community
- Drive new business opportunities and expand the customer base to consistently achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
- Actively prospect new business activities and focus on client groups for MICE and special interest group business development.
- Meet and exceed individual and China MICE segment sales targets.
- Consolidate and prepare comprehensive sales reports and presentations for meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience in the MICE industry, Corporate Travel or from travel agencies, with a proven track record of successfully managing MICE or other events
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Proficient in PC operation, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue goals and successfully delivering projects.
- Customer-centric with excellent presentation skills, strong project management abilities, a high level of responsibility, and a results-driven approach.
- Mature, independent, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
